Description
 
This black NBR O-ring is used to seal oils in static and slow dynamic applications. This product is characterized by its high performance and wide range of applications.
 
Application
Temperature resistance
This O-ring has a temperature range of -30 °C to +120 °C.
 
Maximum pressure
This O-ring has a hardness of 70 Shore-A. This makes this O-ring suitable for applications with pressures up to 80 bar. The diagram below illustrates the relationship between pressure, hardness and groove and seal gap dimensions, which should always be considered.
 
Is it a slow dynamic application with a pressure of 50 bar or more? Then we recommend using back-up rings in addition to an O-ring.
 
Chemical resistance
Nitrile rubber is suitable for most applications with oils and greases. It is not UV or ozone resistant. It also does not do well with some organic oils or greases, nor with high temperatures. In such a case, it is better to choose an O-ring (depending on the application).
