Different to the die-cast LUC units, the standard linear bearing units LUN are made out of aluminium. The units can be bolted from both sides with appropriate screws. LUN units cover the linear bearing for its entire length by the housing. The LUN types are available in closed, slotted and open design. LUN units from 12 mm to 50 mm are equipped either with rigid linear ball bearings LBCR/LBCT, self-aligning bearings LBCD/LBCF or with plain bearings. They are factory pre-greased and can be relubricated if necessary via the grease fitting, which also keeps the bearing in axial and radial position. The slotted design offers adjustable clearance or preload of the units.
