The SKF TMBH 1 is a lightweight, portable induction heating device for bearings with a bore diameter of 20 to 100 mm and a maximum weight of 5 kg. This device uses a patented heating method that operates in the high-frequency range with a high degree of efficiency.
In addition, the device works very quietly and does not magnetize the workpieces. In addition to bearings, other ring-shaped metal parts such as gears, pulleys, bushes and shrink rings can also be heated.
